Remembering A Sweet Friend

 One year ago last Thursday, my friend Katie went home to her Savior. After bravely fighting a battle against cancer, she finished her race well. Smiling the whole way through her difficult journey, she never lost sight of the fact that life is a gift to be enjoyed - no matter how hard it is sometimes. Through it all, she inspired me to be thankful and to look to Jesus in all circumstances...even the ones that are the worst. 

  Today, I thank God for the short time I got to know Katie and the blessing she was to me and so many others. I miss you sweet friend!
