Prayer of the Day

I thank Thee, precious Lord, that Thou hast allowed such troubles to encompass my path that I would turn to Thee with a repentant heart. Thou art a good God - even through the trials that beset me. Forgive me for my foolish doubting of Thy mercies under such calamities. Renew my mind in such a manner that I may see Thee smiling in the shadows, keeping watch upon Thy own.
