Success

True success often comes in the little things,

Through the failures you've had in your past,

And the man who, through unfailing effort,

May get around the world at last.

True success is in being, not seeming

And in faithfully doing your work,

And the man who is truly successful

From the hardest task doesn't shirk.

True success isn't praising yourself, my friend;

It's being who you really are,

And the man who sticks to principles

Surpasses another by far.

True success often comes in the little things

Which, through constant patience and prayer,

Molds you into the person God wants you to be,

And He will get you there.

So don't try to be too successful 

When God hasn't that in His plan,

For the man who proves he is faithful

Is truly a successful man.
